Rename it to 'b' Step 3: Open up Terminal and type this in: cd Desktop dpkg -i b Step 3a. Then add execute permission to /etc/rc.local file. printf '%s\n' '#!/bin/bash' 'exit 0' | sudo tee -a /etc/rc.local You can create the file by executing this command. Same thing for other distributions like Kali. Note: Starting with 16.10, Ubuntu doesn’t ship with /etc/rc.local file anymore.
